Hi, I am Jen and I'm from Texas. I'm 28, have 2 kids (6 yr. old son, 20 month old daughter) and one on the way (due iJuly 18th 2005). I have 2 Rottweilers (male and female) that we breed and sell the puppies. The female is Elivil (Ellie) who is 2 yrs. old and the male is Thorazine (Thor) who is 3 yrs old. We also have 3 cats (Spot-11 or 12 yrs old; Magic-3 yrs. old; and Nino-1 1/2 yrs. old), 2 snakes, both boys (Xavior-4 yr old Ball Python and Mordred-3 week old Columbian Boa), and 2 horses. Rebel is a 11 yr. old bay TB/QH gelding (his nickname is Psycho cuz he really is!). I have had him since he was almost 2 yrs. old. Raddison is a 13 yr. old bay Spanish Mustang mare from the BLM. She is an excellent broodmare and riding horse. She belongs to my kids. We aren't breeding her this year but hoping to find a stud for her next year. These are all the pets we have for now but I'm always bringing home strays and animals that need me. :-)

Jen, It sounds like a neat family with a wide variety of animals! I didn't breed my mare this year either. What colors are the horses?

Rebel is bay with a white star on his forehead and a white snip on his upper lip. His hind 2 feet are white to the fetlocks. He is about 16 hands tall and nearly 1600 pounds. Poor guy has been through ALOT in his life...it's a miricale he is even alive now. Raddison is also bay. She has one hind foot white to the fetlock. She has been in foal 4 times all together. The first time was to a APHA stallion named Specks of Cinnamon. She went through 12 months of normal healthy pregnancy (outside of going 12 months). She wasn't showing any real signs of foaling and I was called to the barn the next morning where we were boarding her and they told me she had foaled but it didn't look good. Got out there and it was a sorrel and white paint filly (looked just like her dad) and she had died. We still don't know why. Then her 2nd foal was by the same stallion (free breeding) and she went through 11 months of normal healthy pregnancy and had a blood bay colt. He was just fine. Had a little star on his forehead. We sold him when he was 3 years old. Lovely colt. Her 3rd foal was by a bay and white overo paint stallion that I owned at the time. She lost the foal 5 months into the pregnancy. Her 4th foal was by the same overo stud (an accident) and she was fine. Foaled a real pretty HUGE sorrel colt with a white stripe down his face and one white hind leg. We sold him when he was 5 months old. I am looking at an AQHA black stallion to breed her too next year. Hopefully I get to. Tell me about your animals. ;D
